Driglam Namzha Workshop for Teachers at LzMSS

The Dzongkha Development under the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs recently held a two-day Driglam Namzha workshop for the teachers and non-teaching staff of LzMSS. The session aimed to enhance the understanding and implementation of traditional Bhutanese social etiquettes among educators. The workshop covered traditional aspects such as wearing the Gho, Kira, Kabney, and Rachu, while also emphasizing the importance of a positive mindset and behavior among educators and students. Jigme Yoezer, a Driglam Specialist, highlighted the need to address the decline in social etiquettes. The workshop aimed to make all teachers responsible for teaching Driglam Namzha lessons ensuring that Bhutanese social etiquettes are upheld for generations to come.
